Camano Law Enforcement Support Foundation
Purpose
The Camano Law Enforcement Support Foundation (CLESF) was founded in 2011 as a non-profit charitable foundation. CLESF supports programs and activities of the Island County Sheriff’s Office and Washington State Park Rangers on Camano Island. The goal is to promote and assist in the building of positive relationships between law enforcement and the community by providing education and resources for the citizens of Camano Island dealing with public safety and security.

CLESF Mission
The Mission of the Camano Law Enforcement Support Foundation is to support the programs and mission of the Camano Precinct of the Island County Sheriff’s Office and Washington State Park Rangers on Camano Island. The foundation further promotes and assists in building a positive relationship between law enforcement and the community by providing education and resources for the citizens of Camano Island dealing with public safety and security.
CLESF Purpose Statements
To operate a charitable organization for the planning, fundraising, development, implementation, and support of programs and activities of the Island County Sheriff’s Office on Camano Island, WA and Camano Island’s Washington State Park Rangers as law enforcement officers.
To assist and promote the education of citizens of Camano Island, WA in public safety and programs that will assist the Camano Precinct of the Island County Sheriff’s Office and the Camano Washington State Park Rangers as law enforcement officers.
This corporation is organized and operated exclusively for charitable and educational purposes within the meaning of section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, including supporting the tax exempt mission, goals and objectives of the above mentioned law enforcement agencies on Camano Island, WA.
